Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mohamed Aglan is a co-founder of Gama Construction and currently serves as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

In addition to his role at Gama, Aglan is the Chairman of the Export Council for Construction and Building, and he also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Real Estate Development and Contracting Committee of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association.

With decades of extensive experience in engineering services, construction, and trade, he held leadership positions in prestigious global and regional companies. Aglan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University and an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. He also earned a Six Sigma certification from the American University in Cairo.

Sara Abdelgawad

Chief Financial Officer

Sara Abdel Gawad joined Gama as Chief Financial Officer in October 2012, bringing over 30 years of experience in leading multinational organizations. She plays a pivotal role in establishing and following company-wide objectives and maximizing shareholder value.

Sara is responsible for planning and implementing strategies focused on profitability and accuracy. Her role also includes risk management, performance measurement, and financial planning and setting financial policies and procedures. She also monitors cash flow to ensure revenue and investment growth.

Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Cairo University and a certificate in financial analysis from the International Academy of Financial Management. She has also pursued a number of other training courses to gain expertise in finance and management.

Mahmoud El Sayed

Mahmoud El Sayed

General Manager - Operations and Technical Affairs

Mahmoud El Sayed joined Gama Construction as a project manager a decade ago, bringing over 22 years of experience in project management services. He progressed in his responsibilities and roles under the Operations Division.

Currently, he serves as General Manager – Operations and Technical Affairs, overseeing the company’s operations and technical functions to ensure alignment with Gama Construction’s overall strategic objectives.

Prior to Gama, Mahmoud worked in the construction management in various sectors and a wide range of clients such Nestle, Danone, Chloride and PSG company in Egypt and KSA.

Mahmoud holds an MBA from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada; a Diploma in Construction Management and he is a certified project manager from the American Society of Civil Engineering.

Rami Bondok

Rami Bondok

Commercial Director

Rami Bondok joined the company as Overseas Senior Commercial Manager in October 2016, bringing to the company over 15 years of experience with regional and international companies. In 2018, he was appointed as Head of the Commercial Department and has been leading both the business development and the pre-award phase of business since then.

Bondok is responsible for identifying and developing growth opportunities as per the company’s strategic objectives. He is also in charge of tendering and contract negotiation processes, aiming at diversifying the company’s portfolio of projects and revenue streams and expanding growth and profitability.

Bondok holds a bachelors of civil engineering of Ain Shams University and masters of science degree in structural analysis from Ain Shams University as well.

 

Samaa Hamama

Samaa Hamama

Human Resources Director

Samaa Hamama joined Gama as Human Resources Director in August 2018, bringing more than 20 years of experience at construction companies.

At Gama, she directs the strategic organizational development, including employer branding, salary structuring, and talent acquisition.

Hamama holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Cairo University and received her MBA in 2007. She also completed a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) in Manchester in 2017.
