With a total of 360MW Gama Construction announces completion of 6 PV Power Plants in Benban

Gama Construction announced the completion and delivery of all its 6 PV Power Plants in BenbanSolar Park – one of the largest solar power projects in the world – located in Aswan

Salah Ghobrial – Gama Construction CEO – stated: “We are proud to successfully complete and
connect to the grid 360MW within the set time frame and with the highest international standards”. Ghobrial added: “The outcome of this project is solid proof of the capabilities of Egyptian companies playing an active role in implementing Egypt’s 2030 vision especially in the field of renewable energy”. He further explained that his company is striving to expand its scope of work to cover local and international markets.

Gama Construction’s scope of work in Benban Solar Park consisted of 6 solar power plants, which is considered the largest number of plants to be performed by one local contractor. Furthermore, the manpower in Gama’s projects exceeded 4700 workers who completed a total of 7.5 million hours without lost time injury. The unwavering commitment to meeting the requirements of the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) standards allowed GAMA to pass more than 15 monitoring audits successfully.
